Longhonrn Ranch is a working cattle ranch located in South Central Missouri in the heart of the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Horseback riding has always been a big part of the culture and heritage of The Ozarks. Missouri Trail Rides Have Become One Of The Most Popular In The Country. Longhorn Ranch has hunreds of acres of trail riding on private property plus we are surrounded by thousands of acres of Mark Twain National Forest. Our families have been in the Ozarks since our great great Grandfather homesteaded land near what is now Fort Leonard Wood in 1874. The Longhorn Ranch is steeped in Western history and was a pass through for the Cherokee Indian Trail of Tears.
The Beauty Of Missouri Ozarks Are The Reason That This South Central Missouri Area Has Become Such A Popular Area For Missouri Horse Camps. Mark Twain National Forest Is One Of The Foremost Beautiful Equine Areas Of The Country.
Just A Little Way Down The Road To The Beautiful Gasconade River With Swimming Floating And Fishing. It Is Also An Easy Ride On Horse Back Through The Trails In Mark Twain National Forest.

At The Longhorn we not only have some of the the most beautiful sunsets, and scenic  Missouri trail Rides but in our native locally sawed Oak Log Lodge we Have B.Y.O.B dances every  Saturday Night with Karaoke and a good old fashioned country good time. While your here belly up to the Chuckwagon Grill and enjoy good ranch grub including Miss Sherry's famour 1/2 pound cheese burger.

For those folks who like to ride but don't have their own horse, experience the Ozarks by horseback on one of our Guided Ozark Trail Rides. We have picked some of our most scenic 1 hour and 20 minute trails to share with our guests.
